Rescued from a park in Hollywood. Named after Maya Angelou or Maya the animation program, depending on who you're asking.

Tommie

Rescued from a classroom where he took an interest in the concept of erosion, he is best described as an imp. He's named after Tomie dePaola, the author.

July 31, 2006 my husband David and I got married in Los Gatos, CA. We live in a small place in San Jose overrun with musical instruments, kitchen gadgets, computers, and most importantly, our 2 cats, Maya and Tommie. We met in high school over musical theater.

Extended Family

I'm also blessed with a brother, mom, stepdad, grandparents who celebrated their 69th anniversary this year, and many special people I can call my in-laws.
